Maroon 5 facts: Summer 2011 – V

Hi there everyone! This is our June plus July plus August plus September update and it will consist of The Voice Episodes, plus more appearances in video of Adam and the guys and some quick recap of their busy Summer months from tweets and blog/paper posts.

We won’t cover what they are about to be part of, namely the Rock in Rio October 1st bill along Coldplay (we are dead envious of Zaira for being RIGHT NOW there! Bitch! We love you though).

Moves Like Jagger Chart Domination

Sorry if we made you wait much, but we kept going back and forth with re-editing of this, waiting for Zaira to create an upload video page for us, attending her marriage in Japan, having our holidays… and this is the only way we did find to eventually put all updates up.

It’s definitely a lot of work to keep up a blog the way Zaira used to and we’ve realized we will never be as good so we will just try to let you have the most important things out of the past Summer months, without attempting any fancy commentary no more (besides those surviving out of our 120000 scratches and work-in-progress versions of this composite post…).

We honestly have no idea how she was able to do it all, especially since her life is always so busy (but she’s not our idol for anything, is she?).

You know by now how  TWO songs that have appeared these months, that have both Adam and/or Maroon 5 involved.

The Summer of 2011 has undoubtedly been a Maroon 5 one.

Maroon 5 had (and still have by September ends) the WORLDWIDE hit of Season with the multiplatinum smashing Moves Like Jagger, a song that has set year-to-date records (in Canada is the record song of the year, just to say one of them) and Adam has found some amazing  further success as a co-writer and guest feature on another huge hit song, Gym Class Heroes‘ return with Stereo Hearts.

It has been a surprisingly massive chart ride everywhere.

Expected by these figures?

Probably not, as the band itself confesses.

Although in so many ways, MLJ isn’t at all their best song, it will end being their most successful, beside maybe This Love (which appeared when singles got certified in different ways than the current, but which was the MOST successful song overall and worldwide in 2004, and for a well good chunk of 2005 too, let’s not forget past achievements).

If you wonder what Sir Mick Jagger thinks of the song, he actually approved of it straight and later on he also confessed at London Times that he LOVES the song, and wanted the band members to be featured MORE in it (since at the start the video included way more footage of only Mick Jagger).

Mick and Rolling Stones have had Maroon5 on their mega tour in 2007 and they LOVE Christina Aguilera so much they tributed her; no strange then Jagger is so well poned over such a cool tribute song to him.

That being said, Moves Like Jagger is a smash, and so is also Stereo Hearts, which is enjoying a pretty fine ride on its own.

There are also other things that involve Adam and/or Maroon 5, as The Cab singer Alexander DeLeon tweeted that they have ALREADY recorded with him.

The result is the crispy and sexual “Animal“, a song that has written “Adam Levine’s lyrics” all over it:

Anyway, let’s go into what you mostly want to see. So, this is the 8th Episode of The Voice: highlight of it being Javier Colon’s flawless performance (and also Vicci Martinez‘s) and watching Adam’s house on the Hollywood Hills:

The groups performances were also really nice: Adam chose the Beatles for his team, while Cee-Lo‘s one performed a well known song by Maroon 5’s fans (Everyday People, that our guys covered).

There is also this other report from behind scenes from EW which is a bit different (but this was the site that bashed so hard the first episode of The Voice even before watching it fully, so…). Some people are very critical of the way The Voice is shaped (here, for instance, USA Today slams the coaches for stealing lights off contestants… but others, like Rolling Stone or Hollywood life, see exactly that as the plus of the show, and we agree with them).

The show is really a fresh thing.

Then there is this from current printed Hollywood Reporter (Christina makes three times as the others? And… why?): Christina shouldn’t earn so disparagingly compared to the other three, especially considering she hadn’t to backplan from sold out tours to be on The Voice. The huge paycheck difference might (rightly in our eyes) well bother her coworkers: in fact NY Post ran rapidly a story the day after that news broke about how Adam would be especially pissed about it all, and how he held a sort of alliance with Blake against Christina. The thing is… Adam’s people denied this but Christina’s didn’t.

Adam had already referred (also on Leno, as you saw) about his bickering with the pint-sized blonde diva as “brother-sisterly ones”… but could he really be saying any differently?

Anyway, Adam, Maroon 5 and Christina have collaborated on what is actually a smash hit song, Moves Like Jagger, which has reached the peak of Digital downloads in many Countries, included USA, as soon as it was out even before it got seriously promoted: we guess hate won’t ever be what will inform Christina and Adam’s feelings towards one another ever, at this point.

Adam denied the feud with Christina also at Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Brown party (you will see it later). This is instead Adam on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday 20th June, and this is part 2 as well  (click on the words and jump to the YouTube pages of the videos, thank you).

And this instead is the 9th Episode of THE VOICE, where we could see Adam finally wearing a suit again (tweeted proudly by Anne V., who has quietly come back in Los Angeles after her New York move for work, giving the full sense at Adam’s tweet earlier that day that Tuesday was his best day of the year so far – it couldn’t have been fully without her at his side we imagine):

We’re not really down with that choice, but in the end we did think the finalist is going to be Javier anyway (amazing version of Coldplay’s Fix You he sang! And we agreed with Adam saying “this song is so important for so many people, show respect by following it well”).

Adam did well with Maroon 5 and Christina on the live version of Moves Like Jagger, but he attired lots of online hatred by overreacting Adam Lambert (former American Idol runner up) fans when he confessed to compliment Nakia he didn’t know the song What Do You Want From Me, but that he was sure he’d sung it better than the original singer.

Adam could have avoided that (but he said it also to Jeff Jenkins something like that regarding Rascal Flatt’s audition song) part of “I think you sang it better”, but on the other side, he clearly never followed singing reality shows before being part of one, and there is lot he isn’t familiar with about radio tunes (he always said it so it should surprise no one? Not everybody is a tv junkie… and he is busy living rather than spent time following the flower of the month? He knows those who are good enough: Coldplay, REM, Radiohead… Adam Lambert is just a guy – with a great voice indeed – out of a reality show who sold some records but never even comparably with nothing Maroon 5 sold all over the world in ten years? Exactly. Adam wanted just to compliment Nakia… those “Glambert” fans have their heads up in the sky if they REALLY think their totem is all that famous that ANYBODY should know about him. In Italy for instance NOBODY has even the faintest idea on who he is, because Idol never airs here. Get over it. All that offending and offended answers were way out of the top. He just said he was not familiar with either the song or the singer, and complimented Nakia for his performance, he never said the original singer was bad?).

Anyway, it all bowled out of proportions, as you will see.

We LOVED all the efforts by contestants and coaches, our heart was with Javier all way through, but we immediately thought Dia might get the final win as soon as we watched all Country dudes standing up for her.

Country sells in USA. It’s a fact. Dia wouldn’t be a bad winner, but based on THE voice, Javier must win instead.

We love Stich By Stich so much.

But what stole our hearts was the rendition Javier and Adam did together on Micheal Jackson’s “Man In The Mirror”.

That was amazing.

We didn’t really think that the opening number by the coaches was that strong instead.

They probably could have worked on merging voices more with different phrasing, because the final cut seemed rushed a bit.

Probably they were all too invested in sharing duties with their own protegees rather than mashing with one another this day.

Then the day came of the FINAL RESULT OF THE VOICE, Season 1.

We will let all the pictures from red carpet later (Anne was there with Adam’s mum, you can see them hugging as the winner was announced, right beside Javier’s family), but we totally want you to watch the episode because Adam was so emotional and overwhelmed (he wrote it too) that to not love him there is impossible.

It was also cute because it was the day of the live performance of MLJ and when it later went directly to iTunes number one, (as Adam did promise to Christina) all Maroon 5 camp went nuts over it, especially Anne.

The strong selling determined an amazing debut at number 8 on Billboard Hot Chart already as soon as the song came on sale.

And Javier duet with the impossibly talented Stevie Nicks?

Javier deserved but I think both him and Adam feared Blake’s Dia would have won (as we did), just based on the iTunes chart (only the performance of the original song was counting, so the fact Adam and Javier’s duet was also one of the top sellers wasn’t enough to drive the prediction towards Colon… but we’re glad the final voting proves us wrong also because, if you did not notice, Dia Frampton follows everyone BUT ADAM out of the voice – this well after the show has wrapped up and we write this down – present and past contestants, coaches, media room people…).

SHE FOLLOWS EVERYONE BUT ADAM and that is unclassy, uncool and plain stupid, not to mention she acts like she was never on a stage and instead she had a band for AGES and a recording contract too.

Little Miss Fake Framps? Anyway, we do love Blake too much to dislike Dia, but we definitely are happy she lost after we found out her disrespect for Adam.

Adam was the winner as much as Javier for us:

We loved the way Adam and Blake hugged also one another more than once at the very end… these two together are by far the icy on The Voice cake: so genuine and on the same wave, they must have a show on their own alone.

And yes, at the end out of all the party for the wrapping up of The Voice there were certainties about all the four judges to be back for Season 2.

This season was quite in rush, and probably some of the elapsing weren’t planned and were forced by the show unexpected success, but we look forward to see a more calmly approached Season 2 and get to know new contestant better than we did with this first crop of singers.

Well, and then we hope to see more of the coaches (especially Adam of course, and Blake) as well caught on camera.

Amazing?

Out of the party there are a lot of little interviews, where Javier and Adam and STEVIE NICKS (yes!) talk about incoming collaborations (Adam does have a voice similar to Don Henley, Stevie is right!).

There are also two videos that those interested in Adam + Anne will find cute: out of the party at Avalon, the lovebirds kissed before he had to head to airport quickly (Maroon 5 played on June 30 and then on July1st at Ravinia Festival, so he had to leave Anne in Los Angeles just as The Voice party ended… and see their kiss, they most definitely hated to be parted that quickly!)

They really are cute as a couple (and the fact Anne is part of the family speaks volumes… did you notice her aside Adam’s mum on the final? Bonding necessities before a big step maybe?).

She has to be really embraced by his circle to be that person in his life, (we just need to see her along when Adam and Jake G. hang out together, but that always happens when she is not in town... Even though Anne seems more a type for Kung-Fu Panda than not Hangover 2 ?) because we all know Adam isn’t the easiest person to be with, for how charming and sweet he might be.

Adam is a special man, sure… but he has special needs, and special prerogatives, which he has opened up really widely as of late.

This is the ADHD infomercial Adam has been involved with as spokeperson to an ADD ADHD Association for Adults to acknowledge their ADD/ADHD sympthomes.

He looks really adorable when that vulnerable? We think he does.

And ADHD is a serious problem that can and must be fronted and confronted with the apt therapies so if you are in need of more infos, just read these links and rely to your therapist.

So yes, Adam has ADHD still.

It makes him more special to us… but we suppose it isn’t easy to be close to him when he can be that volatile in mood.

If Anne stays and they seem always so connected and loved up, and everyone in his clan truly seems have fallen for her too, then this couple just might be THE thing.

We start to believe she is gonna be Mrs. Levine soon, and to our surprise (we, Serena and Margherita, yes, we used to be very upset/jealous of her, thinking she was just “another model” in his strike of beauties aside) we are now all up for it.

She’s beautiful, but there’s more than it to her it seems clearer and clearer as time goes by.

We have to try to recap now a bit better, and why not start just with the start of June, when Adam and Anne reunited for a special event in Venice after WEEKS of separation, due to Maroon5 Asian ad Australian tour.

Anne flew in from Paris (where she has shot something we will see in September), and well excited about reuniting with her man (as she should have been).

Loved up.

And yes, they are so beautiful as a couple… or “Gorgeouso” as Adam would say.

Maroon 5 were in Venice at the start of the month of June (and the weekend after in Moscow) to share part of the entertainment provided by Dasha Zukhova (socialite, billionaire on her own, Los Angeles based, fashion icon, partner of Roman Abramovich, jewish… “kind of friend” with Adam, type of mentor) first at the Biennale of Venezia for the Russian Pavilion and then in Moscow for the celebratory days of National Pride Day in Moscow.

We guess the Levine/Russia connection by now has rocketed to the moon.

And we do find that cute, too.

When Adam and Anne flew back to Los Angeles post Venice, they went grocery shopping together.

Like a really normal living couple.

June 4th 2011. Adam Levine, Anne Vyalitsyna and friends.

They went riding on bikes with friends (Milo DeCruz, for instance) as you can see from this up there collage, and then at night they went all to Brass Monkey where Adam serenaded his ladylove and all lucky attendees (Let’s Get it On…we would have?).

It must feel cool for Anne to have him singing his heart out for her in front at everyone’s face, anytime they have a night out.

Anne had her things to do the days when Adam was again up and running into The Voice schedule, which included very early mornings set up interviews:

He could be more charitable towards poor press for him… and learn a tidbit by his lady, maybe (we are kidding).

Anne in fact, given that Adam had to be so taken with all The Voice process, took a couple of days off Los Angeles to enjoy North Cali and the wine roads near San Francisco, after a last meal together at Silverlake Café.

She had a great time… and she seems really getting used to the Cali style.

Anne lately went holidaying in her mother Land for a couple of weeks in August; (not before having a wonderful and romantic dinner out in New York with her beau) we had to imagine the days when the band will be there this Winter… oh, wait… we are actually attending the Moscow and Saint Petersburg gigs, so we could see with our own eyes!)

For the Moscow “blitz” Maroon 5 brought on the private jet ride a bunch of the crew of longtime friends, which shared also the Las Vegas time along the July 08 date. Refreshing to know they still in contact so close with the people who have grown up with them.

Maroon 5 in San Francisco for an event organized for charity from one of the hugest American Companies, and Adam at Scooter Brown (Justin Bieber’s manager…) bday Bash, which he attended straight after coming back from San Francisco (does he ever sleep?):

Let’s try not to hate too much on the Justin Bieber’s connections… it may be hard for some of us, we know: fact is, Adam seems to genuinely like the guy, whom he praised in various bits of interviews (see the one with Piers Morgan in our storage page, for instance) and from the long-time friendship with his manager Scooter, we sense some collaboration coming…

Justin Bieber as many knows was a very ACTIVE supporter of The Voice and Adam, and he twittered multiple times about this support (and with his following, that must have meant something).

We think somebody should either be blind or with frozen blood to not get hot at the sight of shirtless Adam Levine… and this no matter your status, gender, sexual orientation.

He’s just… hot.

Completely, utterly, overall HOT.

And no way we could ever complain about Adam’s nudity, just like Blake Shelton never would.

Talking about sexual orientation, one of the best things to come out during Summer was the amazing cover feature of Adam for gay bible “OUT” Magazine, where he outed his brother Michael, revealing his younger sibling is actually gay (not like we didn’t imagine it…):

It’s clear Adam has always been an advocate for gay rights, and of course he is since he lived with his sibling being gay all his life; but not many famous people fight for real for gay rights as he constantly does, vocally.

Good job Adam: props to you!

Maroon 5 are always up for good causes: here for instance see Mickey pledge for Somalia Food crisis (follow his advice!).

As well as they keep being Green and Environmentalists, and so their tour is still in collaboration with Reverb and the Green group.

Then they can along Train gift away for charity and entire gig night, for helping those in need.

Or like when they went to John Hopkins Hospital to spend time with Children affected by cancer (heartbreaking, indeed).

More good things about Maroon 5.

During the Tour they had also private party plays at Las Vegas Palms, (for a lingerie launch, mind them!) and then a very special private Party at Stubbs in Austin, something huge and someway “big” as Americans like those stuff.

Closing places and entertain hundreds of guests with a chart topping band ain’t shallow is it?

Maroon 5 tour for Summer 2011 alongside Train, as co-headliners, and Gavin DeGraw+ Matt Nathanson has been probably the most successful of their career yet (carried by the hype of a renewed chart love, surely).

It started with the Hollywood Bowl selling out, a dream came true for the guys and all of their enthusiastic entourage, which encompassed of course girlfriends and mums and families and friends.

So much love… and again the amazing Stevie Nicks to duet with!.

Top stuff.

Then the best t-shirt ever (yes… it goes with the one in Moves Like Jagger Video, now we know!)

And a long winding road which we believe had its fun moments… freaky funny moments, yes.

There are some ways to kill time on the road in between shows, and this was one of those:

Beside a canceled show in Saint Louis due to a sizzling storm, the rest of natural events couldn’t stop the overpowering band this year. No earthquakes, no wind, no rain, no waves.

Just very good music, and supporters.

Lots of tv shows and appearances boosted both the tour and the chart performance of Moves Like Jagger… and nobody could be happier than Anne V about this success and satisfaction (beside the guys themselves probably); and as always, for every good word Anne spends over Adam, Adam answers back with equal loveliness about her “”she’s still the most wonderful part of my life”, he says in this interview.

Then whenever they were together on Tour, they kept being so openly loved up it was hard not to feel their mutual belonging.

Too bad Amy Winehouse died in the time of the tour: Adam and the guys expressed profound pain and regret over that.

Anne in the main time managed to rock a number of fashion campaigns like the one for True Religion for instance, looking always hot.

The girl is pretty much flawless and in this she’s a perfect pairing with Adam.

A very surprising element that added in as the tour progressed was the fact Adam Levine finally FELL FOR GOLFING.

So hard that any free day he had on tour was spent over American Towns practicing his par.

Head to toe fell in for the game, which he and Anne are now an ensemble freaking onto, and all Adam’s entourage decided to celebrate about.

Anne introduced Adam also to her friend and wife of one of the finest (the finest) golf teachers of all time; let’s just say he coached Tiger Woods into perfection (and, to prove he’s a good soul, he left him as soon as he revealed himself as a cheating douchebag), namely Hank Haney.

Hank states that Adam has a natural ability, because he has extraordinary athletic fittings (oh… we always guessed that!), and that will help him overcome the natural first struggles with meeting such a complicated sport (and at the start, he really faced a hard time…).

Adam is confident he can actually become good at golfing, in fact.

Every step Adam takes, Anne does along, but naturally, like it’s because she has the same likes he has (like when she had dinner in NY with Blake and Miranda, and wrote this on twitter, to tease her man who was touring on the other side, which she accomplished to make envious).

Anyway there was also basketball still and PING PONG on the tour sporty table… our guys aren’t boring.

Another lovely thing Adam did in summer was the interview with Piers Morgan (check our storage page and find the interview, because it’s really great). He stated there various things, included something we already imagined, that he wants to be a dad but he isn’t sure about marriage (in the interview, he actually says he will think about it… we suppose if things with Anne keeps progressing this way).

But it’s not always just Adam who speaks: check James have his adequate chunk of interviews here for Spike Magazine for instance, or this other one where he recalls times before Maroon 5 success.

When the tour ended a few days ago, everyone was sad and felt something great had happened.

Other things we learnt this Summer were that Adam still has a style on his own, and that both Adam and Anne feel like they both have two dogs, as they share right now Frankie and Chovy (see tweets of them both, and the image of the two cutesy dogs in Anne’s NY house billboard that she showed in Glamour Magazine (current issue, October 2011: you can notice pictures of her and Adam in various places, included their holiday at the start of the year in Jamaica, that he tipped as “life-changing experience”):

After Rio concert which Maroon 5 had to fill in up after JayZ canceled his participation (and some holidays, though Maroon 5 are actually starting recording NEW ALBUM! They told before the new album was going to be made quickly this time) Adam will start to tape the first part of the Voice Season 2 (end of October is the taping starting, while the Premiere will be in February 2012, right after the most coveted TV spot in the whole tv year, the SuperBowl!).

He will also find time for completing his tutoring of Javier Colon, as he keeps being always so close to the man whom he led winning the Voice 1 (and a recording contract).

It won’t be the only television project the singer and NBC will share in the forthcoming times, because Adam will develop and executive produce also a COMEDY for the peacock Tv:

One tv he won’t be attending for any live event any soon is gonna be MTV, after the tirade he had towards VMA this year (he says all true things, but sometimes he should think better of consequences of his rants…)

So he basically has become someone he used to find boring… as he said himself, Adam’s now a tv executive producer who likes golf… and still has a decent auto-ironic attitude, we add (and a sweet half who’s on his same exact path of likes, and always ready to be at his side in the most enamored way).

But he still so cute and Maroon 5 are still so good at doing music it’s good for us to follow them:

We are sure they’re on the verge of even a greater success, after the impromptu new relevancy gained after The Voice.

James instead will lend a hand to those in need by running the LA Marathon, and while he’s at it he will keep shaking things up along JJAMZ who have just started to tour for real.

We’re thrilled about it all, and we can forgive the band if they canceled Padova gig to be on The Italian Version of XFactor (maybe we’re cool with it because we have tickets for Rome and Milano already)..

We don’t think it was any difficult for Adam: Javier should win this whole competition, in our eyes. But it seems like he did truly enjoy Angela’s legs and body. We give it for granted that if he weren’t faithful to Anne by now, he would have TOTALLY tapped it.

Next battle was on The Voice Episode 5, this one (we know if Zaira would actually watch this show – that she hates – she would have drooled about Adam’s song choice, because she considers Radiohead best living band and she loves Thom Yorke like no other) 3rd battle round :

Jeff is fantastic: such a wonderful voice he has!

Adam has by far the best overall team on The Voice.

We wouldn’t know who to pick between Jeff and Javier, but by then America will chose by voting one and not the other; we wish Casey Desmond had her chance against Casey Weston because she would have easily won over her and then Adam would have got also a very strong female competitor on his team.

But this way he gave himself space to eliminate her and Devon on the Live Show risky picks.

Adam is so smart: he knows exactly what he gotta do to secure his team a total win.

After the video from the tv shows, let Serena and myself guide you through the month of May 2011 in Maroon 5’s world.

That means to drive you all over the World in its most Eastern part, since the band just wrapped their Australia + Asia part of their 2011 World tour.

We were leaving the guys on our previous post on the verge of their Sydney show; you can watch a glimpse of it through Adam’s video of the day clips:

That above is a concert that we could check.

It wouldn’t be the first time we traveled from Italy to New york to catch Maroon 5 at the Today Show.

Now back to the Australian Shows, not before we post a review of Sydney’s joint:

After Sydney, Maroon 5 played Brisbane and along the show tweeting there was space for a cheering for Mum’s Day, too.

And James Valentine:

After The Australian leg of the tour ended, the band moved forward to afflicted Japan.

Japanese people did appreciate the band coming to them in such difficult times and did show them their gratefulness openly.

The move towards Japan also came at the time Adam Levine was forced to admit his adored Lakers weren’t as good as he hoped they would have proved themselves this year: when their competitors won over the Los Angeles franchise 4-0 to advance in the NBA playoffs, Lakers-enthusiast Levine could just admit the demise and wish himself and his team a better 2012.

Before the Japanese shows started the band enjoyed two days off; and the web offered leisure pieces on Mr.Levine, that we are glad to share because we miss him all dressed up like you see in this picture (and yes, he can pull off any look, from scruffy to metrosexual, effortlessly):

In fashion-related news, the day off in Japan saw Adam probably checking out for new clothes (we wish they were suits just as the one above, but we fear currently he’s only into t-shirts and printed ones, to make it worse…).

He learned that in Japan he’s like a giant-sized guy (5’11” isn’t that tall actually, but it is in Japan).

The (unexpected by these numbers) success of The Voice not only allows Adam and his coaches friends to splatter all over all sort of media outlets… as this crafty insightful piece off The Los Angeles Times details, it allows them to bring their unique perspective into a stale old format (the one of singing competitions) by adding a relevant “Game Time” factor.

Then there are article like this one, too, making comparisons among the singing shows and guessing what could make one or the other prevail:

Then The Voice just broadened Adam Levine’s appreciative army:

And that in our book is never a bad thing.

Never!

While Adam was in Japan eating sushi (he loves Japanese food, we know it and he even said it on the above episode of Top Chef Master), he could follow also The Voice first battle round and he said he really hates to send people home there.

He got time to realize about his home sickness as well (he hates also being away from Los Angeles):

Jesse instead was focusing only on Japan and Japanese Language as well.

The guy is so capable at anything, isn’t he?

The first show on Japan was Osaka.

Adam and Jesse both enlightened the uniquely focused approach Japanese people have at enjoying music and art in general.

Miss Z., how can you remain cold even in front of so much love for your “home away from home?”: you stubborn girl.

After Osaka show, the band cheerfully toasted Mickey for his 32th birthday. As James let us know, it seems Mickey’s tastes never change as for what he’d like to spend his birthday time like.

After Osaka it was Nagoya time, then the band moved forward to Yokohama (Adam was referring to Tokyo probably unaware of geography there? Or maybe they anyway slept in Tokyo even for Yokohama’s times?)).

Sometimes we got to wonder who takes these pictures and why does he POST them on their pages for the world to see, because you can have all sort of weird guesses about this one of Adam bending and leaning towards James in the most awkward way possible.

We don’t want to know.

Ever.

Instead of a Mickey shoutout (?) Adam greeted his idol Stevie Wonder’s birthday, and that tweet became eventually a twitter featured post (many Wonder’s lovers in the world, of course).

Maroon 5 enjoyed Japan and also decided to show their support to the wounded Country by donating part of their profits to the Japan Red Cross Found.

That was such a great move that Justin Bieber (we know…) was inspired by them to do the same from his shows incoming.

The link with the pint-sized pop phenomenon must be his manager Scooter Brown?

Because he even flew before Bieber had to to catch Maroon 5 live at Budokan…

That’s some bonding.

On 14th May night allegedly the guys (or at least Adam) went to one of the most famous clubs in Tokyo, FERIA.

The show in Yokohama started at 6 pm: blame it on the unusual time,  Adam felt it a bit off  (though the crowd didn’t at all notice that he was?), and when asked from an attendee why did he briefly disappear from the stage, his answer was “blame it on natural needs“.

At the same time Maroon 5 were on stage in Japan, US television was all giddy for the “Upfronts” for the incoming season.

Not only The Voice got renewed after merely 3 episodes, it also looks like there will be a whole MORE lot of it starting next Mid-season.

Mid-season means January to March (Zaira, don’t die!): The Voice – with clearly the same judging panel, according to Cee-Lo, and to logic – will be the Monday Show, from 8 to 10.

The Voice’s undeniable success is something huge to face.

Adam found something else in Japan that were not clothes in giant size, or sushi: he bought and send to Los Angeles  a 1947 Harley Davidson Knucklehead.

It has to be restored and the man providing it will be Milo DeCruz.

Kurt Sutter and Hart Hanson will brace until the “resto” won’t be completed.

Adam and Milo are so into this project that they have even set up a BLOG about it.

The Blog is called “222life” (because of 222 being Adam’s lucky number, and the reason is that 222 was the first studio they ever recorded in) and this is it (Adam Levine’s fans will get a glimpse there of his Harley Davidsons, because you can see them also, and the images of the Knucklehead pre-resto as well):

Sara Bareilles also got something for Adam: she told him she would have got a tattoo in honor of him and also that she had something for him as a present from somebody.

A Japanese Sword? Sweet!

And she was really sweet in her tattoo choice too (Adam’s got birds as well over his body, way bigger, but still birds!)

Also Jesse got a new tattoo in Japan (now Land of sushi, swords and tats?)

That day Maroon 5 premiered their video for the Lady Antebellum‘s featured song “Out Of Goodbyes” and once again as it was for “Runaway“, the band is NOT shown in the video at all.

The video is very beautiful and movie-like, and it’s directed by “Vevey Forever”‘s Travis Schneider.

We know some of the fans will be again disappointed for the lack of the band in the video, so we hope to make up for it with two gems from the past:

Then the amazing Adam and James (we love Adam’s nerdiest version with the glasses… so miss that!) and the celebration of the 80’s, again on VH1:

Many people who are not first hour Maroon 5 fans have no idea on how crazy and funny the boys are.

But thank God, we are all fans of the first bunch!

Japanese tour had then two consecutive nights at the amazing Budokan venue, a real historical location for concerts, which had James all pumped up.

Adam was crowned (?) Hottest Musical Bachelor by MTV US (he’s clearly hotter than the rest of them combined):

Taipei show was really good.

And it’s a boost when your energies start to fade due to a month and a half of traveling…

Then probably the band would be gladder to travel if that would involve to move only over Shinkansen trains?

After Taipei, the band reached one of the most incredible places that exist on the planet: Hong Kong.

Before we get any further, we share this news (it’s not in English, but there is what we found, sorry).

Adam Levine has collaborated on a track off Eve’s incoming new record (that pairs the new song he has landed his voice skills onto, Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy, STEREO HEARTS, which will be launched in a little while, June 14th, and which we have previously mentioned in another post):

This could be named “Adam and Eve”.

Lame?

We agree, excuse us.

Let’s get back onto Shinkansen with the guys now:

If some of you guys were anxious over the forced separation between hot lovers (we must admit they are, no matter how we might be envious of her…) Adam and Anne, the two were often tweeting at the same times while he was on tour.

Skype is the best tool for far away coupled people?

It seems so.

On May 20, Adam shouted his ladylove this:

The achievement is undeniable: especially if we think Anne was the face of the fragrance also 10 years ago (at the tender age of 15, when she started to model).

She was happy to point out that as well:

And apparently she always was.

Maroon 5 moved to Manila, and that very first night there, the town felt an earthquake.

Not very promising for resting at night.

But the scare didn’t pass so Adam held something he didn’t since last year (and the year before: both times in July), namely a Q&A:

The Q&A is always entertaining.

Not much revealing this time around, but still a fun time.

Adam also let Jimmy Kimmel know he has trained for another Pop A Shot trial.

Hopefully he will have another chance at beating that incredible guy again next season.

The boys loved the vibe there, and the crowd too, and it wasn’t immediately given as a success because it seems the venue in itself has a difficult layout to arrange to.

After all that Maroon 5 moved to Seoul, in Korea, for their last remaining two shows in Asia, and they also celebrated Matt Flynn’s birthday on the way.

As Adam was venturing in Korea (first Seoul, then the last date was in Busan) Anne V was busy shooting first in New York, then in Los Angeles, then moving towards Canary Islands.

As we said the last date of the Asian leg of the tour happened in Busan, Korea (Adam tried also to play the match-maker from stage to his roommate  Gene Hong, who’s Korean… and it did quite work?).

After that, and not without thanking the fans, the guys flew rapidly to Los Angeles (via Shanghai).

Too bad the end of the Asian tour means no more Video Of The Day features… this is the last one from Adam:

In theory shortly after Maroon 5 and their crew were touching California’s ground Anne should have followed and reached them there, from the wrapping of her Las Palmas shooting trip (she looks really well in bikinis).

She seemed pretty confident about it when she gave out friendly shoutouts to Gisella Tellez,  Shawn‘s baby-mama (“P” is Penelope, their daughter whose godfather is actually Adam).

But then she had to bend over, change her plans and commit to her duties (which meant move towards PARIS):

Poor Adam! He had to spend Memorial Day without his lover.

(Poor Anne as well, but we do feel more for him of course).

The last time the two could spend time together was in London after Maroon 5 stop in Istanbul.

That makes more than a month and half parted for them, and so far they’ve never been that long away from one another (last year they spent apart  a month between August and September).

At first Adam seemed to react cool at the news (what can he’d do…) and as he touched down LA, he went out with friends, including actress singer Jena Malone, to the Spare Room at the top of swanky Roosevelt Hotel:

Previously that day he also ventured checking some guitars at Norman’s (n0tice he had an haircut too in the main time between Korea last gig and May 27th):

The day after, Adam could enjoy what he was fearing to being forced to miss (see this post) namely Prince at The Forum.

The night was surely fantastic; Adam adores Minneapolis’ finest funky man, and along with him there was also Mary J. Blige, plus Adam Blackstone and Skylar Grey, and they are all Adam’s pals… some friends were with him, he went of course backstage, and that could have made the perfect time for him, except for one – not small at all – particular:

We were having breakfast all when this appeared on our phones timeline on Sunday (Italy’s time zone made up for us to have breakfast then), and even Zaira had to fangirl over so much cuteness pouring off from Adam’s fingers.

No matter how much she’s upset with him, that shout out he typed to Anne won her back openly.

Also Milo’s note to Anne was clear and sweet (a friend understand a friend’s pain and heartache).

Anne’s answer from Paris was as sweet (almost):

Okay: these two are really sweet as a couple.

We have to admit it (we keep telling ourselves so the feeling of jealousy won’t grow too much. Anne is really apt to be with Adam. We know she is. It’s just hard to fully accept she may carry his babies one day).

Keeping up with the never too bad adagio “only good friends can help you when you miss the one you love”, after checking Prince with friends Adam spent his Sunday night with best pal Jake Gyllenhaal checking out “The Hangover 2“.

The time with his BFF continued all along, because the morning after, the two had brunch together, witnessed among others by and MTV host/personality:

We wonder if Jake was among the pals who later went on celebrating Memorial Day with Adam, taking tans poolside along him.

We haven’t evidences (or we did not find them) but thanks to his good friend and fashionista entusiast Nellie Kim we most definitely know that Adam took a good refreshing swim on his 2011 Memorial Day home:

As Anne V was ready to shoot for something massive incoming next September, Adam tweeted that he was about to fly TO VENICE, Italy.

The day before he was riding his bike wearing… a black and white Hawaiian shirt and no helmet (Adam….)

We agree on everything: he makes anything look cool, but it’s no good to not wear helmets.

Back to the Venice move… The only thing Maroon 5 (because ALL of them, including PJ Morton, are currently flying to Venice) could be up for is The Biennale.

We’ll see?

Anne seemed ready to join her beau (also because the only good timing flights Maroon5 could take were Lax to Paris to Venice… so ?) after 6 weeks of heavy work.

Sure anyway the lovebirds are about to soon spend time together: as they should (oh, lucky Anne V? We think so!).

Memorial Day and the move to Venice Biennale of Maroon 5 covers all that was left about May, beside the last episode of The Voice Battle Rounds that you’ve got up above, so also this post from us sees its final line.

Last bit of news is the NBC is so impressed with the success of The Voice that they have ALREADY decided The Voice (Season 2) is what they will air after the most coveted broadcast in the whole US television: The Superbowl 2012.

Maroon 5 facts – April/May 2011 – III

Our monthly posts get updated with what we hope will be an interesting recap of everything that has happened in Maroon 5 world in the past 30 days.

We are glad to say that we have watched the two episodes of The Voice Blind Auditions (the power of Megashare and our very tech savvy friends were helpful there… ps: Zaira, you may hate the show and being resolute in not watching it, but we thank you for having allowed us to download the episodes through your devices… and thank you Federico, too, for helping us saving the codecs)) and we have liked every bit of every show so far.

You will get some good link later with the episodes in full so we hope you will be also able to watch even though you may not be Americans (just like the rest of us, too).

Let’s get into recap now, back from where we stopped last time.

We are sorry, but we couldn’t find any working clip out of the episode of April 8th, 2011 of the Dutch version of The X Factor, where Adam Levine did mentor some of the contestants.

We were guessing in last post that since his girlfriend was in Turks and Caicos for am ad campaign, just days before Maroon 5 would be moving to Barbados for their professional duties, Anne and Adam would have remet in the Caribbean Seas.

It did not happen.

While his half was working under the Sun, in fact, Adam and his creek of people went down to Las Vegas (8-9th April he was SO there), and for the majority of that time, Adam did not even tweet…

By the time Maroon 5 moved to Barbados, instead, Anne went back to New York, to spend time with her Pomeranian Chovy and her mum.

One person was extremely jealous of Adam as he was tweeting that in Barbados everybody “sounded like Rihanna“… and that was RIHANNA, tweeting him back that she would have so much traded places and locations with him, and be back at (her) home.

Even though weather was far from perfect in Barbados, we are sure the location and the stay were breathtaking (supervilla, check!) and in fact Adam tweeted his love for the island along the praise serenaded by the whole band all over their stop there.

Too bad the posh location, and the way he enjoyed smelling roses on the patio of the villa seemingly wasn’t enough for Adam to stop being a brat?

The concert sponsored by the Breakfast In Barbados production, although under menacing weather was great, and really cool to watch.

Always a pleasure to enjoy them on a stage…

Our favorite thing was this interview Adam and Jesse did while in Barbados, anyway:

It seems that one of the most enthused at the gig was actress Minnie Driver, who grooved at the music and then also enjoyed her chance to meet Adam (and sure at least she pushed HARD to obtain one!).

The band didn’t stay too long in the Caribbean, no matter chasing fans though, because they had a scheduled flight to New York for the already-planned-from-a-long-time TruTV party launch.

But the day before that, while the rest of the band checked PJ Morton gig in New York, Adam and Anne – who is on the DVD cover for the current swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated –  actually reunited and went for a dinner out, instead (the romantic lovebirds…).

They had to capitalize time together, because hours after the TruTV launch party (that they went together at, of course, too) Maroon 5 had to fly back and touring towards European scenery.

But before they truly rocked out that Turner Corp. event. Massively.

It has been painful for the rabid fan he is to have to worry about his adored hometown’s sporty pride from far away, and all his tweets during games time are proving how big of a fan of the team he is.

And as they announced, during the time of the tour Adam will update us with a daily Video.

Talking about videos, and/of Adam, we found this oldie from a training lesson of Yoga at Adam‘s place:

Maroon 5 and PJ Morton left Usa to reach Istanbul, and Anne as well flew to an exotic location…for unprecised reasons (hopefully she rested?).

Adam flew very comfortably to Europe, even though Maroon 5 too had to be forced throughout delays (thing that didn’t let James sleep, so he did as soon as he touched Turkish soil):

But although they have not really be clear about that, we can tell you Adam and Anne reunited again soon after his gig in Turkey and her further stop in Anguilla, and they reunited in London.

We liked this excerpt because it was especially correct over that FAKE REPORT that Russian and then british Gossip papers built up and got spread, the one that claimed that Adam said of Maria Sharapova that she was a “dead frog” in bed.

ADAM NEVER SAID IT.

Adam and Maria were a great looking couple by the way, and this is something to remind you how he seems to have always had a spot for Russian beauties in himself:

The show blew minds collectively, from what we checked out of.

The evening of the post-show party was funny, and Adam tried up PJ Morton’s accessories:

While Maroon 5 enjoyed as a band the gap in between shows (the subsequent one in Dubai was about to take stage only after a few days, and Jesse, James and PJ tweeted images of the beauties of Bosforo to make fans assured they were enjoying their further stay in Turkey, which included music from the local people) the immediate morning after Adam Levine tweeted from the Istanbul airport, from where he quickly departed – not without being annoyed by some noisy baby on the plane – to reach…

He did not reveal why he moved there, other than allegedly have something funny to point out about London, its style, its vocabulary traps, and the lack of a good motorcycle surround (Los Angeles is stuck into Levine’s mind everyday).

But we do know London is dear to his heart especially after he and Anne stayed there back last Fall (those were the days of the Cosmopolitan UK photo shot, and we all know those hands covering Adam’s man parts are Anne’s, thing that he confirmed in interviews too).

Although she hasn’t tweeted about being there, we got evidences Adam and Anne met in London, in that tiny free space of time they both apparently carved for themselves into their schedules.

It’s hard for Adam to stay away from his hometown, or his Country; it has to be even more so when in his place there is the woman he loves from almost a year and a half.

A very lucky woman; but he is a lucky man as well, if she takes planes whenever it’s even remotely possible to to spend with him often only a grasp of hours.

And no matter if they tried for the down-low, someone still has captured them, enough for others to decode what moved Adam away from his band mates enjoying the beauties of Turkey.

He was captured by a beauty from Russia.

Adam was definitely in a great mood while in London (another hint at Anne’s being at his side) because out of his friend Andy Milonakis (a comedian) request for a 300.000$ car to borrow so to be hip enough for a ride around Los Angeles, Adam AGREED in landing him  his beloved Aston Martin.

All his fans know he had to be really confident and friendly and in a super-good mood to agree over that…

To be far away for two months from Los Angeles implies many good things, like visiting the world in full, but also some down points: beside the Lakers and their playoff games, for instance, Adam has to give up to one of his idols’ long touring residence in the town.

And he can’t easily get over that:

Before Maroon 5 completed their schedule that way, Adam shared this video, and we have to post it because the co-star there is his amazing Golden Retriever, the amazing “Frankie Girl” Adam has tatted over his back, the lady dog that we all love and that is also the one in Goodnight Goodnight video.

By those days The Voice had yet to make its – greatly successful – debut on screens, but words were circulating on how two of the judges/coaches immediately had bonded in a very open, really funny “bromance“.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton lately proved their chemistry out under everyone’s eyes (they are so similar, which is maybe unexpected but so entertaining, both over the show and if you follow them both on Twitter), and there were anticipations such as this (that is definitely Adam’s calligraphic mark, we all know how to decode it):

While tour life progresses, some have wondered the state of Adam Levine and Anne V‘s relationship (Anne was those days in Los Angeles shooting a denim campaign with Twilight’s Kellan Lutz, if you wonder…).

They are still very much on, and Adam sometimes sneaks at it, like he did on April 26th, answering a tweet:

Everybody hoping for a breakup while he’s on tour are gonna be let down; we find pleasant the way their friends also are always referring to them as a couple, because one of the best way for any relationship to be safe is to have the support of your closest people around.

And to deny Anne’s beauty or charm or qualities would be pretty pointless, wouldn’t you agree (we still envy her like… GREEN, but she’s a good girl for Adam, we get it)?

This time, (and we are longtime fans of the band, so we have seen all the times when touring jeopardized Adam’s relationships) it really seems he wants the story to keep shining, and putting his best efforts into this for real.

Maturity in a 32 years old?

Probably.

And then Anne is always so very supportive of her man; she just looks like a great girlfriend and it’s hard to question it.

And then it came THE VOICE, as the band was touring still.

Time Zones made it possible for Adam to watch over some device, and hear the feedback from his girlfriend (glued on screen) and friends.

You have seen the episode full (at the start of this post, go up!) so here we will post just some article.

The show was a complete success: we love Adam there, his personality is awesome and so true; we really like Cee-Lo, and Blake Shelton is  fantastic (and not only because of his openly expressed bromance with Adam).

We find Christina Aguilera full of herself and annoying, a Diva in the worst sense… but the girl has the most impressive vocal pipes and that saves her from our dislike.

We never liked American Idol (which never gained attention in Italy); we quite like XFactor instead.

But what makes The Voice stand out (beside our love for Adam) is the real competency of the coaches, their personalities, the way the singers are really good.

We agree with this:

Despite some dumb critics (This one, who clearly doesn’t have a clue, or Billboard, which wrote their review even before the show actually aired, and is now trying to step back from their not-on-point bias), the show has been a HUGE SUCCESS both for the NBC and the people involved.

We clearly think it’s gonna be a great idea.

Adam’s “salesman” skills paid him off in the end (his father must be so proud), and he’s probably very happy right now to have followed his instinct and accepted the gig, even though initially his dislike for reality tv almost held him back.

But guys were still touring; from Singapore, to INDONESIA (so loved by Adam, and he’s actually now wearing constantly a bracelet gifted by a fan there), Maroon 5 moved to Malaysia.

James asked innocently on twitter advices for meals… and Adam answered in his most typical way.

As they were ready to move to Australia, from their Asian stint, and with some days off and a planned apperance at the Logies Awards (fun coming from there too, as somebody decided to not follow the dressing code…), Adam posted some more video and then vented a bit as he always does when he has spare time.

Anne by then had flew from New York to her “second home”, Los Angeles, and taking residence in the West Coast made probably easier for her and Adam to Skype at decently parted hours.

Not that Adam sleeps much anyway anyhow, and if you know he has ADHD, that shouldn’t come as a surprise (nor it should the fact he is a rebellious brat):

The Australian time had included also the chance for the guys to watch the Second THE VOICE Episode (also that one is up at the start of our post today), while the contestants from the first one already were having their run of interviews (particularly the three picked by Adam in that first show, as they are we think the best of the whole 32-people lot actually).

In this interview with The Voice Correspondant you can also read about how Blake and Adam “are brothers from different mothers”, and probably like us freak a bit the way Allison was quoted naming “all four coaches are married or ENGAGED”.

Well, Cee-Lo doesn’t act such as a taken person, but he’s histrionic so that could be just charm-acting up; we know Blake is just ready to marry Miranda Lambert… Christina has that useless rented piece aside her, and hopefully she isn’t really that drunk or dumb right now to have offered him an engagement… but is there something Anne and Adam haven’t yet told the world about?

Certainly she was again very charming and supportive, watching Episode two from “that” Hollywood Hills pad along all of his friends, and tweeting him her love:

While Anne was sharing love back and forth from LA to Melbourne (she is really rocking red, that blouse fits her really greatly!), other famous friends were taking chances for planning some meeting with Levine.

Hart Hanson (Bones creator) and Kurt Sutter (Sons Of Anarchy creator) finally exchanged all the tweets needed to set up that long-ago-planned-to-be-made group ride on bikes.

Among some digs at Hanson’s Moto Guzzi (Moto Jacuzzi is just hilarious!), and trying to find a window into Adam’s tour schedule (and The Voice taping we guess), June appears now like the time.

And we hope strongly out of that ride comes also a cameo for Adam in SOA.

It’d be great.

We would also love if Adam would take Blake Shelton up for a ride along.

The Voice ratings EVEN INCREASED the second time, which is pretty unique for the way television works.

The show is just so very good and refreshing, and to compare it with the bore that is something so predictable as American Idol is not a good service.

Adam was again the one providing the most memorable moments, from the Pink tease with Cee-Lo, to the astonishing “But sadly you have a penis” on national tv exploit.

We wonder how the production will deal with him and his unstoppable mouth once the show will go live… he can say so much!

He still have the strongest team in our eyes; we hope the Battle rounds won’t make his first three picks face one another, because each of them (Jacob, Jeff and Rebecca) could win this.

After The Voice and the planning of the bike ride with Sutter and Hanson, Adam in Australia got a surprising sparring partner for getting into his other passion beside motorbikes (and girls, but then now he is a so well-behaving faithful man…).

For a night of fun in Melbourne, Adam Levine and PJ Morton played basketball with…. JUSTIN BIEBER.

And it seems that team Adam+PJ+ Bieber’s manager Scooter Brown actually won (not without effort and pain and lots of hurting body parts the subsequent day).

We can just imagine the collective squealing of millions of young teenagers at the news (and in fact Adam’s mention timeline over twitter has been a constant retweeting of Beliebers since the exchange of tweets surfaced).

We are not that happy about this connection… we are way more excited after this morning Cee-Lo and Adam exchanged tweets in a very funny and charming and in Adam’s case full-mouthed way, hinting heavily at a collaboration, to be honest.

Way more pumped yes.

And we liked the way Cee-Lo called Adam, so fittingly, “handsome devil”.

Are we the only ones recalling Cee-Lo super-white and giant smile out of his emoticon, after having watched him smile so often on The Voice?

That man is great.

If or when some of our praise for Adam and Maroon 5 (but mostly Adam gets that from us) may seem to you a bit overboard (I am married and Serena is in a very stable relationship, and this should ask for more composure from us), we can tell you we can’t help but loving the man.

And we actually enjoyed to read this open praise of a gay blog about him, because it said very well what we find also irresistible about him, which make useless any attempt from people to make us “nothot” about him:

So evident, that Adam is 3rd on the list of the Celebrity Yoga addicted:

And talking about eating… Maroon 5 will also be on television next week being guests for Top Chef Season: they have the chefs along?

Maroon 5 facts – March 2011 – I

In this blog post we will try to bring you some news about Maroon 5 listed in chronological order.

Please don’t expect the style of writing you were used to whenever Zaira was uploading pieces of news in her blog because neither of us can be as creative as our unique Miss Z.

We are going to try to use her method of linking many Twitter posts as we write though  – she said it’s the best way to keep the writing short, and she must know?

We are using this limited space to just try to fill the gap until The Voice stops airing or preparing, so that she will feel again ready to cherish on Maroon 5 and Adam Levine (our Lady Z. can be very stubborn and harsh on her principles, and she truly felt so let down by Adam ditching touring for being in a reality show… but she has promised a small Maroon-related update these days of birthdays, and then a very beautiful version of Stutter, that we will link as well hopefully soon from her YouTube Page).

Anyway, let’s start with the updates and  we leap off with a linkage of a couple of videos that you will like.

The first one is the recently released Sara Bareilles’ video for Uncharted.

Jesse and Adam star along a very huge number of other musicians, so we are sure you will like what you see:

The tour beside it has already been re-scheduled for November /December dates (in Italy now we have THREE dates and not just one, as joining Milan in December are also Rome and Padova).

Maroon 5 have also posted a new webisode of their performed actual European leg, which ended already, but developed mostly in UK:

While Maroon5 were in Amsterdam, instead, you know Adam tatted himself with a “I Love Mum” tattoo on his arm, opposite to his beautiful tiger tattoo, and he was inked by one of the greatest tattoo artists in the world.

The month of March started with Maroon5 moving towards Paris, and also offering a song to charity for a very important cause (read this article from the Huffington Post about it, thank you) .

Another charitable initiative is this one (again, just click and read from Maroon5 Blog directly, thank you).

In Paris, on their free day, the band (well, Adam more than “the band”) was joined by his girlfriend Anne V, who was meant to be in town for Paris Fashion week, and who had left Los Angeles after taking a stand during Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

The two very much in love drove around town as soon as she arrived in Paris, because she had to attend various fittings and castings, but then lately in the day they had ways to relax and enjoy their own off-time.

They also ate a lot – Adam doesn’t like model who starves, as he tweeted – and it seems that Adam’s look was taken as not very bound to Fashion Week later that night.

Serena and I are extremely jealous of Anne, still, especially when she tweets things that clearly describe the way she and Adam share the most valuable time as one, but we have to admit in all these months she has grown on us a lot. We are not in awe of her like for instance Zaira is and always was, but now we think she is a great girlfriend for Adam… We do.

She is in synch with many if not every one of Adam’s crew people, and loved back by all of them from what we get to know openly.

That is cute.

And it’s likely to keep Adam quite happy.

The show in Paris the day after has been (in the words of a very pissed off Zaira, who was there and not really easy to conquer, since her disappointment for the ruined rest of her touring March) “absolutely fantastic”.

Adam has also started to tweet a lot more since his open acceptance of the judging role on The Voice, so we had chances more to understand how he was feeling also before that gig.

After Paris, Maroon5 moved out of France for a date more in Cologne, and again Adam felt some urge to write.

Some new activity to keep the band going that is not linked to The Voice show is incoming for Maroon5 no matter the postponed tour.

The most notable is the outsourcing experiment the band will experience along Coca Cola Company:

Other appearances will include a guest spot on the cooking show “Top Chef”, which new season starts in the USA on April 6th.

Maroon5 flew back to California after Cologne, when Anne stayed in Paris for attending a fashion show for Isabel Marant among other duties.

It seems that Adam and the band are recording or at least pre-recording some new material.

Adam said it’s jazz-oriented and it sounds promising.

Or it could also be that Adam’s a very huge egomaniac, as he noted himself.

Adam shared with a publishing source dedicated to food some steak recipe.

We are Italians and not impressed, but other people might find this that he wrote tasty?

Probably his girlfriend finds his skills at cooking fine enough though: and we guess she probably likes anything he tries anyway.

Anne flew “home” in Los Angeles as soon as her working duties in Europe allowed her to, and she is spending still time aside her man (paint both Serena and Margherita sighing. Margherita slightly less, because her husband might mind a little bit).

Anne and Adam shared as well International Women’s Day and it was funny the way Adam had – or seemed to have – a very kindred and useful approach to honoring the event, that was later on quite remarked a bit from Anne herself (we will admit she is kind of funny, too).

Anne not only shares happily Adam’s patterns of life; she doesn’t merely enjoy his circle of friends, which is now hers; she does not limit herself in liking sushi just as much as he does, or Italian food, or French wine; she also seems to totally share as well Adam’s love for yoga… for sweets… and for animated movies.

Up is one of the best movies lately made so it’s not like we can make fun of neither Adam nor Anne for having spent a night watching it.

These past days Adam and Anne enjoyed themselves in the spare times.

For instance on Saturday it was time for some Universal Studios checking up in Los Angeles area.

Now that had sure to be fun.

And pretty… sweet again.

On Sunday instead, after a night spent playing the pool, the Harleys took place in and it became time for a long ride on the Pacific Coast Highway, one of the most beautiful roads in the whole world, full of breathtaking sightseeing.

The last week Adam has been using his time to get ready for his coaching job for The Voice.

The show will probably be available for streaming online as the majority of NBC shows are.

This means not only Americans will be allowed to watch.

Adam has done press, shot promos, and shot photo sessions, and just these days he has started tape the actual show previews.

This is why he had to postpone Maroon 5 gigs so no surprises.

About his mentoring role, he had multiple things to say over twitter, and most of them were quite enjoyable (this if you are not somebody very lateral about the fact he will do that show, of course).

Let’s hope it’s not a trend.

Also because for instance the Japanese situation casts a shadow on incoming trips.

Japanese tragedy has hit all of the boys, especially Jesse (who was in Hawaii when the after wave of trembling undersea forces reached the Islands), and of course also Adam, Anne and the whole of the band.

Adam also tweeted in disgust about that stupid student of UCLA who ranted against poor Japanese people dying for the tsunami (people can be very stupid, indeed).

James Valentine in the time being has been enjoying mixing JJAMZ’s record (cool stuff), and then he has taken advantage of the Indian Wells tournament, being the tennis enthusiast we know about.

Are we the only ones though who found his note about Maria Sharapova’s a bit… awkward, given the time she was with Adam?

Oh, well, it’s their link and business anyway?

We never found Maria the right girl for Adam.

And speaking about Russians…

In a handful of hours, we know it will be Adam’s 32nd birthday (on March 18th); the day after, on March 19th, Anne will turn 25.

The two are probably going to get celebrated again together as they were last year (along Aristotle Circa, Adam’s pal and stylist), and by then Adam will have to accept that he’s fully “thirthy-something”.

We wonder if they will be attending again the Lakers game on the 18th of March, as they did on March 14th to see Los Angeles Lakers prevail onto the Orlando Magic; again they seemed pretty picture perfect and completely happy as the Kiss Cam wandered on them.

They are surely as cute as a button together.

We can’t deny evidence.

On March 17th Adam is slated to attend Clinton’s Benefit soirée for his Charity Foundation: Anne must be here along, we have no doubts (check this Billboard News about the upcoming event).

We have decided to end our first major upload on this blog ( it took us hours, and we wondered how Zaira could do this repeatedly and covering NOT ONLY the band’s stuff?!??) with a very nice plus.

Glee has done a cover of Misery, and it’s worth of a listen, although no, nothing comes close as Adam’s singing:
